Yeah thats not how ac's work. The evaporator doesn't suck anything from anywhere. The evaporator gets cold because the expansion of refrigerant has a cooling effect by allowing the liquid to return to a gaseous state. The blower motor is just a fan and it blows air across the evaporator cooling the air and sending it thru the duct work into the cabin of the vehicle. That refrigerant has to be recompressed by the compressor or the system freezes up. That job is done inside the condenser not the compressor. What its doing is condensing the gas back into a liquid. That process creates heat and has to be regulated. There is no real sucking of heat anywhere in an ac system.
Pretty sure I got a dead fan
hi my AC is blowing cold after i replaced radio how can i fix it
I like the "SNAP" on the glove compartment hahahaha, As always nice video!
Great video. But I’ve had an issue with my face air vents not working well for a very long time now. Sometimes they work and sometimes they stop working.. On a hot day like today they’ve decided to stop functioning.. Only my windscreen air vent and floor vents work. I seen a mechanic probably over 6 months ago and needed my actuator replaced. Face air vents were working well but recently I’ve been having the same problem all over again and it’s just getting worse.. I’m confused on what’s going on. Can anyone help me out?
Scotty? Was I ripped off? I check my cabin filter, every oil change. Even placed a screen behind the front grill. Just to keep the bugs out. Had an AC problem after 140,000 miles. 2015 Chevrolet Cruze. They replaced the compressor. Whole job cost $1,200. +…
Love the energy! I'm not sure all the suggestions will help my problem, but I'm glad to have found this channel.
To kt the compressor seal working be sure to operate the AC in the off season.
I was told that tip 35yrs ago. My wife and I have the exact same car only one month apart. 5yrs go by my ac is. Like new hers not so much. They both have new batteries and we keep up changing the cabin filter yearly.
Guess my old shop teacher was right turn on the AC on the winter full blast a few times.
