Soft or squishy brakes isn't always due to broken down fluid, if you have rubber flex lines instead of braided rubber flex lines, those rubber lines are going to expand an contract due to the brake pressure an this is extreme on older vehicles with worn lines, so not all your application force is being used in braking. Switch to braided lines an you won't have an issues with "squishy or spongy" brakes. In conclusion though do change your brake fluid every 2 years or whatever man specs.

You have to have someone pump and hold the pedal down while you loosen the bleeder, won’t work well the way you did it

Does this work on a 1991 Ford F-150 Lariat with a small block V8 engine that produces 300 mph

The clear bleed hose should go uphill to the bottle to prevent air from entering the bleeder when you release the pedal.

I always started at the closest wheel. You don’t want to send debri through your whole system.

NO! IF YOURE BRAKES BECOME SPONGY YOU HAVE TO INSPECT THEM FOR WEAR OR LEAKS. It's videos like this that tell people to neglect their car when it can become potentially dangerous.
