I think i might give your method a go i will use 3000 grit with a Meguiar's E7200 should be ok?
And any standard dish soap should be ok?

Hey SPC! I'm going to be doing this project on my F150 and then I'm going to nano coat it. So I can simply forego the Carnauba cleaner wax after the Mother's polishing and I'll be go to go right?

Iv got a couple of stone chips with rust in them, how do i stop the rust from spreading?

Quick question from a newbie. Is the paint you are using a single stage 1K, or a 2K with activator?

Your channel is awesome and I already applied some of your knowledge! My girl and I completely rustproofed her 18 year old mazda mx-5, including the windshield seal as shown by you. We 303'd all the plastics and rubber bits-car is beginning to look really great!
I have one question from your method in this video:
Wont the carnauba wax wear off after a couple of weeks/months and the dull paint shine through again?

How do you premix paint and clear coat? Ratio?

I have a bmw with mineral white paint, all the paint touch up kit look like 2 or 3 stage so my question is, how do I apply the top coat do that when I sand it down level to the surrounding paint, the top coat (which I believe has the pearlescent quality in it) is not removed? Help!

This is a good video. I can still see the chips after you buffed it out, but that's about as good a chip repair as I've ever seen and probably as good a result as can be expected. Maybe if you get really lucky, the touch up paint will be a perfect match and the resulting repair using this method would be virtually invisible, but this is pretty damn good.
