To a cold engen spay down with cleaner drive to the buggie bath spray it down water won't hurt it let it dry and amoral the crap out of it
You know technically you don't have to cover the engine to clean it ONLY reason I know I used to take my car all the time and wash my engine including the car obviously right but yeah even my homies used to do it when I was younger it really won't hurt nothing but if you wanna be on the safe side I guess you could keep your engine running while you do it……
