Works reasonably well with solid colours, impossible with light metallics though especially silver.

But now u have sanded through the surrounding clear coat and just replaced it with polish, Yes? Did not see a clear coat put in the surrounded area around the chip (which I saw you dab on just the chip). Nice video.

Nice one! Did you sand down the paint build up after touching up with dry or wet sanding paper?

Why don't you use a primer before base coat ?

Absolute amazing video. Would the process differ at all on a plastic panel like a bumper cover?

  6. Troy Linden

What happened to the clear coat that was chipped out and that you sanded away? You need to replace it for long term.

Tell the owner to stop tailgating lolol No WAIT!!!!!!!! DON'T do that. You'll lose business. Hahahaha. Great job and great video. God Bless.

Did he sand through the clear coat, or just scuff the surface? If the former, it seems like those spots would fade/wear more quickly than the rest of the paint?
