I recently got my car ceramic coated and I want to ask what shampoo when you recommend. I came across chemical guys hydro suds. Would you recommend this product as a maintenance was product?
Watched your vid on ceramic maintenance, my question is after washing is it safe to use a a Iron out spray to remove further paint contamination and not hurt ceramic coating
Soo.. I spend 2k on a coating to make my paint more durable and easier to maintain and I cause myself 3 times the work. You’re not selling me on ceramic coating dude. I don’t make money by making YouTube videos of me waxing my truck. If it’s not working I’m not making money. Make me a freaking product that does what your sales pitch says it will do.
I got a ceramic coating from a Gtechniq licensed place. It rained 5 days later and I have water spots all over my truck. Also, my windshield gets extremely dirty quickly and when I use the wipers and the wiper fluid, it just smears all the filth and leaves huge streaks across my windshield. Is any of this normal?
Is the C2 that you spray on your drying towel a ceramic coating maintainence spray? Or is it a type of "quick detailer" or something else? even after you blow dry the car I assume that the C2 "drying" process is to remove leftover moisture or just to apply the C2?
Should I buy my rims and tint windows and chrome delete car before getting ceramic coating??? Thats the predicament I'm in.. see the ceramic coating is happening first cause all other places booked at the moment
Oh great! I guess my qtechniq coating is messed up. It rained two days after I got my car back and it has rained everyday since then. Should I be worried?
He may be an expert, but I disagree. The top layer is the sacrificial layer; it’s going to be attacked and washed off so you want a good bottom layer protecting the clear coat. On the other hand, for myself, and only for myself, I use Nufinish sealant as a good first polymer coat (2x), and then apply Turtlewax ceramic spray coat (or any similar spray coat) as the sacrificial top layer because it’s less work to spray to rub on a liquid sealant.
Nice job
