Guys, I have recently made an updated video of this spotter tool where I show how to build this thing from the ground up and also added some much needed upgrades. Here is the link to that video –
In this video I’ll tell you how I found out about the Spotter welder, what it is and I’ll explain how I built mine using transformers out of microwave ovens. It is basically an electric dent puller that is being used on car auto body. It’s an awesome tool that I’m grateful that I now own. I have no idea how I got by without it all this time. I truly believe that every bodyman should own one and even if you’re not a professional and just getting into doing auto body work as a profession or just a hobby this would make work so much easier and quicker. Don’t even bother with spending your money on old school stud gun, you’ll just be waisting your time, take if from someone that has been there and done that. Hope you guy like the video.

At (3:32), you say that you are "I am pretty sure that this is a SECONDARY. I could be wrong."
First of all, you didn't just say "I think that this is…"
You said: "I'm pretty sure that this is…"
So, with that in mind, please, what exactly is it that makes you: "pretty sure…" here, because you are wrong.
    180° wrong.
    It's the primary winding.

How about a foot pedal for that switch. It would be more comfortable and…hands free. You can use a pedal form a electric sewing machine or from a musical keyboard or from games. Just trying to help.

Please let me just say that connecting three microwave transformers in the way you did is not to increase the current but to increase the voltage.
This, setup simply gives you better purchase when making the spot welds.
The available current would be just the same with a single transformer but having three in series, gives you better punching power through any dirt etc.

For future projects: The transformer leads aren't positive and negative. It's the moving magnetic field available from AC on the primary windings that induces a voltage in the heavy secondary windings you've provided. The iron core serves as a pathway for the field and is made up of many thin layers isolated from one another. This layering reduces the amount of heat generated in the core by limiting the size of induced current flows. Whomever identified this phenomenon was listening to Van Halen using a time traveling hot tub that left him so sleepy he forgot to document its design. He did build it outside in his back yard so it's possible for the images to reach the Asgard Midgard Guard and a cheap version could one day show up on Interstellar eBay. Shipping charges would be a b itch though…

The Eddy current subject is huge. A paper by Lloyd H. Dixon, Jr. titled Eddy Current Losses in Transformer

Windings and Circuit Wiring is a good example of the complexity that shows up as technology increases and higher frequencies are available for common use in voltage manipulation. Well back to isolation..

can i add 4 transformer for better results ? or 3 transformer s enough ?

Nice video, plis indicate tools attachm to MOTS. Where buy ? Thknx !

Show it more in dept and show us how you did the fitting and the orange thing

Why would u want to built one, when u can just go a buy one and be done with it! You can get one for about $100 bucks! It's like trying to make your own root beer, when u go to Walmart and buy a 2 liter bottle for $1.89…!

Can't you just use an arc welder for the power supply?
