After making the initial diagnosis on this vehicle and determining it is in cylinder number two, it is time to pull the intake and have a look to see if we were right! UPDATE: Customer had me remove the heads and off to the machine shop they went. Machine shop reported back that ALL intake valves need to be replaced even though they would seal, they had slight bends to them when installed on valve grinder. -Enjoy!

Look at all the extra parts they put in these damn cars. It will run aright without this stuff won't it? Does this little part matter. What good do all those washers do anyway? Do you know what this thing is? It doesn't matter does it?
Good news honey only 5 parts left over this time!
Do your really need all those tools? Boys and their toys. Just make the car run and quit playing around!

I'm no mechanic, but isn't that a VW VR6 motor shown in the thimbnail?

I personally would never trust this engine at all because all the bolts are loose. She won't run long capn. I would be tempted to pull the intake on #2 Put one in and send it. Drive her till she drops

As for me and my family, we'll continue to buy 'Merican iron. I don't like the looks of that engine. Know whut I mean, Vern?

  7. Dan Lovins

    You’re a damn good mechanic!

What a class act. A lot of shops won't let you pay to diagnose. If they don't get the job to fully repair they don't want it.

I'm always fascinated by the transformation from the beautiful, shiny, new car smell vehicle to the rusted out, broken down shit box
