After making the initial diagnosis on this vehicle and determining it is in cylinder number two, it is time to pull the intake and have a look to see if we were right! UPDATE: Customer had me remove the heads and off to the machine shop they went. Machine shop reported back that ALL intake valves need to be replaced even though they would seal, they had slight bends to them when installed on valve grinder. -Enjoy!

That sux, there goes that feeling of self satisfaction for doing something yourself…. plus another $600 bucks gone for the second valve job within 1 mile of operation! Poor guy, that's how hard working, do it yourselfers learn though!
I'm a female and I enjoyed watching this, I used to hang about listening to the males in my family work on cars when I was a kid so for most of it I knew what he was talkin' about..also I'm buying a 2004 Honda Odyssey.
5 out of 6 aint bad. I'd would drive it for the next 20k miles 🙂
The Old Double Crank Shaft Marker Gambit..
Well all I can say is I have had to take both heads off after I did a timing belt. I was not going to take it somewhere else and have them laugh at me for my screw up. I was taught it is ok to make a mistake as long as you learn from it
Like always great videos
those valve stems are just a bit bigger around than a coat hanger change em and use new head bolts itll be fine
Wow Eric, I would not have touched that thing! As always I am impressed with your diagnostic skills.
serious issues with who did the job to begin with. warranty? It seems this will be a expensive lesson, do we save money using x or a mechanic
That timing mark is a nasty trap.
