In this video I have a look at a customers 2017 Honda Civic. He replaced his own rear brakes and then after doing so the red brake warning light was on along with the service brake system light and warning alarms going off! He did take it to another shop before bringing it in to us and they told him he needed two new parking brake actuators! Boy that would have been an expensive mistake. Let’s use some logic and figure out what is really wrong with it. -Enjoy!

Maybe he yanked on the cable rather than the plug, which caused the innards to be dislodged.
Perhaps designed that way so if you drop the caliper with harness attached if comes apart rather than ripping a wire out?
Another example of making something that was reliable unreliable. Nothing wrong with mechanical parking brakes. The more electronic crap on these vehicles the less reliable.
well done japan, it seem's you have invented the world's silliest connector.
what happened to the other two larger
wires
when you manage something really fiddly, a lap of honour round the building is the order of the day.
I love the super trooper reference lol second time I've heard this in his videos 😂 "enhance, enhance"
