Love the duct tape on the oil filter tip, I've been a mechanic since 1980, never thought of that.
props to the viewer. 👍
LOL I have used the screwdriver technique more times than I can remember and like Scotty I had all the fancy removers too.
Scotty
The big rig drivers out here in California are getting bad in the last few years, there are way more trucks in my area of Rancho Cucamonga not surprising since the last few years there has been a warehouse boom in the surrounding cities even to this day there are giant boxes going up on just about every vacant lot or they taking out the old small farms and putting up Industrial and Distribution Centers.
My old house in Fontana was up on Baseline and you could see the entire mountain range, but now all you see is warehouses.
I am not fooled. China is shutting down all exports. Because they are on a wartime economy right now.
Shortages? Heck no. They are building up their offensive miltary capabilities.
Pentagon.
General Mark Milley: "Chinas Hypersonic Missiles are a 2021 Sputnik moment!"
Shock and Awe.
This magnesium shortage will be bad for the aviation industry as well.
Horrible idea! There is not a trucker shortage- there is a trucker pay shortage.
Now they're trying to over-saturate the market again, to try not to PAY truckers.
Want illegals and teens killing people in trucks?
How did no one pick up that he said Dominic Toretto wrote in?! C’mon y’all! Around 2:50. 😂🤦🏻♀️
One neat trick I picked up wrenching on cars whenever you have a cup style oil filter removal tool that goes on the end of a ratchet but the filter keeps slipping and it won't grip put a disposable nitrile glove like the ones most mechanics/nurses use over the filter and that fills in the gaps and gives it an extraordinary grip without twisting or damaging the oil filters body/housing.. this should save you time from having to wrap it around in duck tape STILL NEVERTHELESS both are great ways to remove a stubborn filter
Warehouses, shippers and receivers, and freight brokers are the reason freight isn't moving. Nobody wants to pay for being in a truck for weeks at a time. Freight brokers STEAL 80% of pay, huge mega-carriers refuse to pay, shippers hold drivers for hours to get unloaded (not being payed when you are sitting waiting!) And the idiots all over the country want to break check and cut off trucks. Trucking is the most over-regulated industry, and now u can make $15 hr at mcdonalds, why make the same money and never see your family or friends?
We owe it to our government for lack of planning the last 30 years. What happens to all the THINK TANKS in Washington that are suppose to be catching trends of what is happening and making plans to counter. Sounds like the THINK TANKS are not thinking at all.
Australia has its own magnesium mines.
China is buying coal again from Australia. Chances are you got it wrong Scotty.
