Either lose your oil plug…..or try and remove an oil filter put on with an air gun.

I changed my own oil and didn’t put the filter on tight enough. Either that or oil pressure got too high. Luckily it was a slow leak and I caught it half a quart down. (Still 9.5 quarts left). Ended up just doing another change and made sure that filter was nice and snug. Don’t want to put a new engine in my ‘18 Mustang GT.

Sorry My worst car has been 93 toyota 4 runner. The bracket that holds the pedal kept breaking! 5 speed

My Chevy diesel requires Dexos2 5w20 and my Cadillac ATS 2.0Turbo AWD requires Dexos1 Generation2
I am sure if taken to a quick oil change facility, they will put in conventional 5w20 and call it a day.
For both cars, i use the onboard oil life monitor system, and change it when it reports 25% oil life left

Scotty you are so right! I have seen instances where the dealer puts in way too much oil when doing the oil change! And places like Jiffy Lube where the kids there make mistakes like forgetting to put in new oil after replacing the drain plug! Shi* happens!
