I have to say though Scotty you are insane telling people to buy a 2 wheel drive 4Runner why even get a 4Runner if it's 2 wheel drive? And the V8s are outstanding I've personally seen them with 500,000 of course the fuel mileage on a V8 is insanely bad so I got the V6… and he's wrong about the gas mileage I get about 23 with the four-wheel drive about 500 miles per tank…

My dad bought a 06 4runner brand new.he got a V8 with 4wd.He drive that for almost 12 years and 272k miles.we still have it but since Jan 2018 it has had to have a new engine and all new caltalatic converters.and it isn't in great cosmetic shape because it has sat. Outside in the socal sun.the paint has wore off it needs new tires,windshield, and a new back panel because it has a big gouge in it.that was patched with glass window black glue.
