On another note, I rented out my Forester and Lexus while I don’t drive them and they’re also booked for most of the summer outside of the times I don’t have it available for rent. It’s insane.
Emergency brakes are becoming a thing of the past. Button activated parking brakes can't be used in an emergency. Neither can floor pedal emergency brakes that have no release handle that allows the brake to be modulated. You must put the pedal to the floor to release them. That'll lock your rear wheels and then that'll be the emergency. Every car should have a hand brake.

Right now the Model 3 is better than the Model Y, and cheaper. I think the thinking is, they are going to get the Model Y price down by making the batteries more efficient. They don't even have a single engine Model Y available yet, that's why they are so expensive. The main plants that are going to be producing those aren't even ready yet. Eventually they will get the problems with the Model Y ironed out and it may eventually be cheaper and as good as the Model 3 is. But I don't think it will be 2022.
That RAV4 Prime will have a much better chance being #1 than the Model Y by far

There is no such thing as an "emergency brake. Look in any owners manual for any vehicle & you will find it's a "parking brake"
