A three year old Ranger or Tacoma with 60k mi for $30 or $40k is going to be a tough sell if Ford sells you a compact 4 door truck this fall for $20k new with twice the fuel economy.
Sure the Maverick is no Tacoma…but most little truck buyers are really buying a commute car and once a month sport truck.
