Do you have a suggestion of where to look for a used car In Houston besides stealership
If you have never financed a car(basically have no credit) go and join a local credit union. Put $250-300 a month into a savings account for a year year and a half. When it's time to buy a car you can prove to the credit union you can afford a car payment. They will general loan you twice what you have saved. I did this with both my children. It works! Open the accounts when they are 15 or 16 years old(or sooner).
