Somebody in California is gouging the price of hydrogen. I fill hydrogen cylinders and it’s not anywhere close to $16 per kilo. We sell it for about $6 per kilo but we charge per 100 cubic feet

Yea all nice n rosey! But the energy needed to extract the hydrogen from water is more than is actually in the hydrogen!! Then as it’s particulates are so small the tank needed to contain it without it leaking off is expensive!
This whole hydrogen fuel is a waste of time!

There were some hydrogen cars that didn't use fuel cells, but burned the hydrogen in a more conventional engine. Haven't heard much about them recently.. Gotta wonder about the cost of the platinum in those fuel cells too.
