My '07 Dodge ram truck quad cab with a 3.7 liter v6 has 210k miles on it. I've only had to replace the ball joints, shocks, a/c compressor, water pump, pcv vaulve, and the cat will need replacing soon. I bought it used over 5 years ago. So, if the Dakota don't cost much, I say go for it
