Help Scotty! My 2004 Tacoma Prerunner V6, automatic won't shift into 3rd gear until it warms up! 154,000 miles on it. Purchased from a lady who's husband passed. It sat for a while! Hardly driven for a year. Shifts great after it warms up. I live in Florida.
If the vehicle has a air idle control valve like my 02 Chevy Prizm it could cause a high idle as well
