I got 'volunteered' by a friend to help him do some PM on his girlfriend's mom's car. I was NOT happy since I didn't expect it. The air box was FULL of dog food kibbles that squirrels packed into it. She new it lost lots of power but didn't know why. I had a good laugh.
I just washed & re-oiled the K&N yesterday, since I had a 4 day weekend. Wasn't even dirty yet, but it's done until Fall!
I recently bought a new air filter. Didn't need to but did anyway. It was the same brand and size and part number, but the kicker was that it half as thick and less paper sections. I guess Fram is heard of Shrinkflation. Smaller product for same money.
My Briggs and Stratton lawn mower's paper air filter lasted 20 years because I kept the oiled foam pre filter clean and oiled with non detergent motor oil. Figured high detergent might desolve the foam.
If You live where You have Vehicle Emission testing, Do Not over oil Oil Wet Gauze filters! It can contaminate the MAP Sensor and cause a Failed Emissions test..[Like Here in Comminefornia] The Gauze Filters flow better ,clog faster..
Did Scott accidentally have a radiator in the thumbnail? Lol
The oil I spilled the first time I changed my oil bath VW air filter is still on my folks driveway, 40 years later.
Did you know that most atheists are also Marxist?
Hey scotty. You did forget to say dont buy the cheapest filter you can find. They are not created equal. Super cheap air filters can break down before you would expect and actually break apart getting sucked into the engine and creating a whole mess of problems. 😉
I love these high quality videos
