I drove one back in the day. What was the biggest disappointment, and killed the car immediately was the super low Horsepower!!, We young guys had all come from Sixties and Seventies with High Horsepower Detroit Muscle, so when this sewing machine finally came out, everyone bailed on it right off the hop. I found it truly hard to believe that someone could get so much money together, go to all that trouble, of building a car, and then purposely choose running gear that even your grandmother would feel is too slow. I love the Automotive World, but the Car Industry has always been rife with bizarre, stupid, and illogical builders! Has always been thus.
Such a shame GM turned from a quality maker into something I wouldn't buy a bicycle from. Spent many hours fixing up my old Nova or cruising in my best friends Impala. My girlfriend bought a Cruze….what a steaming pile that was. We all own Civics now.

In 2021, I went to my 1st classic car show with my '87 Firebird, and was parked right across from a DeLorean. I must say that other than the Gull wing Doors, the vehicle didn't look that exciting as far as the interior. Other than that it was nice to actually see one in person.
