" …gasoline and petrol engines…" 😂
Is this the 5 cylinder?
Some of these 5 cylinders have lasted 200k plus miles.
Well. I have a 2011 C30. I included the timing belt cost in buying the car. Got it done when I bought it. It has 135,000 miles now. What sucks is they recommend a 7500 mile oil change. I said crew that. I do every 5000 and the oil is clean when I change it. My engine does not burn oil either.
I drove a Volvo c70 recently. For a convertible that was somewhat heavy it did drive well. It was fun to drive. Not hearing the turbo was disheartening.
Stuck rings? Carbon under ring/in the grove under ring?
Just keep adding oil as needed. No big deal.
My 2002 Nissan has 256,000 miles and doesn't smoke but does consume about a quart between changes
