ps, i drive big trucks and i prefer manual for driving. but i also have a small car of which i prefer automatic. i hate shifting when im relaxing and i hate not shifting when the job needs to get done properly
One solution is to move to Europe where manuals are the most common. Especially the most common to rent.
I remember years ago seeing under the hood of a Suzuki – it had a 3 cylinder engine. I told the owner my motorcycle has a larger engine than your car (had a 93" stroker). He didn't wanna race either…
