Scotty, in my 2009 Honda Fit I have the anemic 1.5 litre engine that's even worse with the AC. I turn it off frequently so as to have more power (accelerating, going up hill…). Does the constant on/off powering of the AC compressor shorten its life? Thanks!

Scotty has a real hard on for Toyota, I wonder if he had the unfortunate luck of having one that the gas pedal would stick to the floor.
With that low ground clearance I can't realistically call them Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs).
