I have one and did my research. It is the best car for the money in its class. ???
say what you all wanna say… these all are copy /paste of BMW/MERCEDES exactly what lexus started to do and still does until now. because they all know what GERMAN cars represent! whether you like or not, Germans created the modern automobile and are still leading the way… Look at the vids on youtube about track races/head to head sports or luxurious models; you will find out that more than 75% of them are comparative videos between Jap/Germ cars or AMer/Germ cars… Because they all want to be compared to German cars and want to share a piece of the cake of success German cars own. You will see vids with coments like: HURRAY! THE GTR IS 0.6 SECOND FASTER THAN THE GT3 RS! MAN IS IT FAST!!!
Lol! all these efforts and this engineering to make a car go faster for half a second or so… Ok, what next? Do you think it's really hard to push a car to its limits?? May be that's not the purpose of some brands! Many competitors focus on performance because they "can do something" but they can't beat the level of safety/comfort/design and handling German giants like Benz/Porsche/BMW can achieve…
Anyway, it's not only a matter of perfomance and quality; HISTORY itself is 75% of success! Benz/Porsche/BMW/VW prooved their existence and are leaders in automobile manufacturing since more than a century and that's something impossible to beat! It's like that… Now regarding Lexus/Hyundai/Kia/Infinity, they are all late cars brands that are working hard and have a wide success; but they lack HISTORY/CELEBRITY. They will never be able to dethrone the German giants! Germans made the automobile dream come true! It's as simply as that… DID YOU SEE ANY KING/PRESIDENT/MINISTER in an official convoy being escorted in a Hyundai/Lexus (besides may be Corean or Japanese)??
JC ,here in Ireland even 1.6 pertols are considered gas hogs and anything over 1.8 is almost impossible to insure other than diesels or cost like traveling to Australia every year. I think I should emigrate

I have a 2014 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 r-spec and its just an amazing car. 429hp, 0-60 in 5 seconds and I can fit the whole family in the car w/no issues. My only gripe is that lack of after market upgrades. This car brand new was almost $50k. Picked it up with less than 30k miles on it for $20k. I too compared it to an infinity Q50, BMW 5 series and Audi A6…….The Genesis blew them all away in performance, comfort and price. It was an easy decision =)
Got one, one of only 42 in the U.K. 2016 with a 3.8, which is the only engine which came to the U.K. much better than the Mercedes and Jaguars we’ve had. And no Hyundai badging so no one knows what it is.
