I just assumed it was the electric companies who made the money. No matter who puts up the charging station, they are billed off the electric meter, right? Then the person who provides the station can either offer the service for free, (so you shop at their establishment) or they can charge you a premium as to make a profit to at least pay for the installation of the station. I can envision a LOT of independent stations associated with the nearby business or businesses.
It's what they want. Its their right to buy whatever their pocket can afford.. And let them learn from their mistake if they consider it a mistake.
