I have a 16 Alrima SR and I didn't know it had cvt until after I bought. Not sure if I'll go long term with this car
Scotty, you need to check out more cars from different makes with CVTs, my CVT has no problem when you set it to hill mode to slow the car down, an infinite gear ratio solves this problem, maybe FORD CVTs just suck…, Try Honda and Subaru CVTs
Scotty, what are the top four newer automatic transmissions made and we know Toyota will be #1:). I ask because you say Honda is a good car and they have a CVT transmission but so does Nissan. What’s up with that?
This is hogwash. Our Subaru Outback holds its set speed downhill with no problem. Our Honda Pilot, which does not have a CVT, does not.
Scotty, did you try to use the paddle shifters to slow down?
I have a 2011 jeep compass. At 180,000 miles the CVT transmission went out. Who do you recommend to fix the transmmission.
