better change that fuel filter more often running high otc gas.
Only use premium if your cars engine requires it from the manufacturer
Good Sunday afternoon Scotty, educate me!
🧰🙌👍🍺
I have one mechanic that instructed me not to rely on the scan tool alone, because there could be other issues influencing the listed problem.
He want to keep my car for several days, because of parts delivery, he has so many clients. Rushing, I went somewhere else. They relied on a scan tool, and came up with a diagnosis opposite of what the previous mechanic told me. Consequently, I ended up paying more than what I was initially told.
It's now a month later. After getting a oil change, the check engine light is back on. I thought about getting the octane fuel to see if it will get rid of the check engine light. The mechanic that changed my oil use the scan tool, and came up with a new catalytic converter and O2 sensor, which is something I already replaced. I'm tired! I know that isn't the problem. I replaced my PCV valve, my O2 sensor, my catalytic converter. The catalytic converter was replaced unnecessarily.
Bush Corn Gas aka ethanolzz is crap. If you got any motor over 15 years old. Kiss it with Stabilizer.
My Car takes 87. But I'll try 89…
My 2018 Honda CRV turbo with only 21,000 miles on it loves 93+ octane gas. It just runs better off of it. Thus far I have had no gas in the oil problems knock on wood.
It's funny they are going berserk on the comments to scotty about gas octane ,before he said you don't need it unless it's recommended, but they didn't listen, he said if its carboned up with that many miles it might help temporarily, look at the book and use what they recommend and decarbonize…..
