My parents had a 1988 towncar it was like driving a sofa and super reliable.
I remember back in 2009 to 2013, many sold this car for under $2k to $5k on craigslist. Too bad I didn't get one, after realizing by accident I rent a 2011 Lincoln car that blew me away.

AMEN! I have a 04 Towncar and I got grief from friends but I'm a big guy and it's a great car. Main thing I had to change was the airbags in the rear and we put the spring replacement kit back and I'm back on the road now!
