I don't change my own oil anymore but what I do now is buy the best synthetic oil and the best synthetic oil filter and bring them to the local quick change oil store. For a reasonable labor charge I get the best available oil change without the pain of old oil disposable and mess of DIY.
That "dishonest person" you showed has sure cost me a lot of money! For some reason, though, she keeps getting richer and richer and richer….
I have a 2003 with 131,000 miles on it. I did have to have the starter replaced and it was losing coolant temporarily. Otherwise she is a reliable daily driver.
You’re right about the windshields! Insurance companies will only pay for the price of a cheap replacement, but OEM much better.
