According to his logic and hate of Fords, Seems like the car shouldn't have lived that long. But there it is, running like a champ. Not one good thing to say about that old Focus that IS over 200k miles? Every auto maker has great cars and crappy cars. And there's a few of every model that leave the factory not as solid as others. It's life. I had a 2012 Focus with 175k miles that ran like a dream. The only thing I agree with him is the engineers logic. They most definitely need a slap.
I know everything about the ford focus 2000 to 2004 are good cars with the 5spd
I sold my Focus ST earlier this year and have no regrets.
It's not just Ford. Most manufacturers have been adopting anti repair methods. But hey now we're all rich we can just buy a new car when it breaks.
Have to agree with Scotty on this one. Working on Many newer model Ford vehicles is horrible.

We had a Focus similar to this in trade school. The teacher scolded me for drilling holes in the fender to get to the alternator bolts.
