Just pull the pass headlight out next time, 4 bolts and a plug. Low pressure port for AC right there.

I own a 2003 Focus wagon, 246000 miles runs great! And yes it's a pain to recharge ac on these but syestem is pretty good!

Ford made it really easy on the Focus – all you have to do is remove one screw on the headlight, pop two plastic clips and lift the headlight out and you can access everything on the inside of the fender. You can access the radiator hoses, intercooler hoses, power steering, A/C etc. (depending on the model) through the headlight orafices. I see idiots removing all the plastic shields to access stuff from under the car that you can easily access through the headlight orafices all the time 😂🐴

I guess enough people complained about it because they fixed that problem with the low pressure AC coupling by moving it on the 2008 focuses.

Swine's Scotty ? That's a new one, lol. I'm going to have to use that one.

I had an 05 Focus Wagon 5 speed manual for 11 years until a guy hit me and totalled it. Best car I ever had almost 50mpg highway more cargo room than any of my svuv's. It had 1 fault the armrest broke and that was it for 180,000km.

I always just put the whole can they sell on autozone of compressor oil.

I had one of these first gen Focuses for a short time for a flip. The components were so cheap and things like the AC port being in the wheel well or cabin air filter being changed to chicken wire in later models to save cost made me glad I wasn’t keeping it. Almost felt bad selling it. With out a doubt the most garbage car I had ever worked on.
