Scott is so right. Who in their right mind would ever buy a Hyundai or a Kia.
I laugh at Kia owners. You get what you pay for.
I traded in my Santa Fe on a Highlander because it started burning a LOT of oil.
This is strange to me. I am on my 4th KIA minivan, currently a 2021 Sedona. Never had engine oil problems even after 15 years of ownership. This car is a lemon, sell it and move on if they won’t honor the warranty.
I've got a 2018 Sorento with a 2.4L engine that uses a quart about every 2000 miles. I have the dealership change it. The oil cap says 5w-20, but they have started putting 5w-30 in it, which is acceptable according to the manual. I wonder if they are using thicker oil because of the consumption problem.
Scotty's lawn is an endless money pit
On some of the 2.4L engines, they have bumped up the 10 year/100,000 mile warranty to lifetime. There was probably a lawsuit.
I own a 2013 kia forte and like scotty said the oil burning is a real problem i always take mine in early 🙁
Kia Soul, wouldn’t own one. On my 4th Kia Van, no engine problems after 15 years. Replaced it in 2021 with another Sedona. The car is a lemon, trade in get something else.
