I remember changing my head light in my 1961 old's F-85! I changed my own oil, so never took it to the shop!

My VW Passat has adaptive headlights (im in Australia). It broke about a week after I bought the car and i’ve had a blinking light on the dash for the last year. Apparently the fix is to replace the whole headlight assembly and I just cant bring myself to spend the money on that

So you're complaining about a possible change to the laws and also complaining that the change isn't happening fast enough? 🤔

I agree with adaptive headlights. These headlights are blinding these days

Scott i have a 2009 Altima with the cvt trany.. (I know I should get rid of it) the other day I was on the way to work and when I turned on my headlights I lost electrical power and my abs and emergency brake lights flashed on and some type of brake system turn on.. then I turned the headlights off and for some crazy reason the rpm spiked up to 5k without me touching the pedal and without transferring any power to my wheels. After this happened I rapidly lost power and could only go about 3 miles an hour. I pulled over and turned the car off and back on and everything went back to normal. Im not sure of this is from my alternator or if it is from bad battery terminals or what.. very concerned would appreciate any advice
