The world is so screwed up right now, it seems like they're forcing inflation to happen. I even called chevy and GM dealerships for an auto tranny filter and there is a world wide shortage and none in stock anywhere. How is that even possible 🤷♂️, a filter.

A lot of your tax money is going to crooks in the Government. Like "politicians" That is why after a few years they can live is the lap of luxury with big cars, multi million dollar houses, extravagant life styles, etc. Then there are the black projects that siphon off more tax money for the benefit of what or who? And we get the local Government who not only waist your tax money or stupid projects but take a big chunk of it illegally for their eventual retirement. ALL CORRUPT and worse than South American Countries.
Scotty, Pres. Biden's American Rescue bill provided a significant break for Americans, which happens to include the majority of your viewers. Post-pandemic, that help is what most of us still need. That money goes directly into the economy– to keep families in their rented homes, to provide food and other costs of living.
In 2017, however, there was another bill passed by former Pres. Trump and the GOP, which Americans did not need. The bill was optimistically labeled a "tax break" that would pay for itself. However, CBO and financial analysts said the opposite– they warned the Trump/GOP bill actually continued federal deficits in a declining economy. While not all deficits are harmful, the 2017 bill was passed in spite of warnings that it would not pay for itself, even into the future, but would weaken the economy.
Nonetheless, that 2017 bill was received with joy by the GOP, which turned a blind eye to its adding trillions to the federal deficit. In fact, Pres. Trump commented, "I just made most of you (the upper-bracket earners in the room) a lot richer."
In contrast to Biden's direct federal emergency aid to lower and middle taxpayers, the 2017 GOP bill gave $1.3 trillion of its nominal $2.x trillion to the upper 1/10th of one percent of taxpayers. That money did not create a wave of new jobs, and few (if any) factories reopened in America, returning good jobs to American workers. The GDP continued to fall.
As for pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps, as the saying goes, most Americans want to create a good financial future and are willing to work hard, but the numbers are stacked against them. For every tycoon-wanna-be, there are 20 others who must work at McDonald's on a part-time basis, and work another part-time or even two other part-time jobs simply to keep going. After the 2007 Wall Street scandal, over one-million full time, good jobs simply disappeared, only to be replaced by McJobs with no family-friendly benefits and no future. An entire generation of college graduates cannot pay off their own educational loans and certainly cannot buy a home. Many, in fact, cannot afford even a reliable car.
