I can detect a crack in my truck's windshield… no app required. But it's in a place where it's not in the direct line of sight (in the corner of the passenger side in the lower corner and goes diagonal so structurally it's fine. It's been that way for 2 years.

I just gave up with Apple years ago because I got tired of Apple trying to tell me what I could and couldn't do with my tablets and phones (and more importantly, that I sometimes it wouldn't let me use ripped audio CDs (MP3s) on my phone is some cases, of which I owned the CDs anyway, I just copied them into MP3 form so I could use them on the phone. Nope. Apple has to be the DRM police, so I switched to Android / Microsoft and haven't looked back.
