Yeah GM BCM's can be weird. My 03 Malibu's was a little funky. If it was bright enough out the BCM for some reason would shut my daytime running lights off and turn on the "Service Vehicle Soon" light on the dash. Headlights could still be turned on manually and when it was nighttime it wouldn't even cause a fuss, it only had an issue with daylight lol.
Normally, people would not care if a damned Yankee moved back North! However, Scotty appears to be useful and a likeable guy. Can't say that about Yankee!
