Scotty, 2006 Malibu LT makes a noise which used to be only when I first get going in the morning, now does it occasionally other times. The noise comes from the right rear, when I first start moving out of the parking space. It sounds like a BIG groan, just a kind of deep groaning noise and pretty loud. 10 hours diag time to not figure it out would be more of a lack of diagnostic knowledge than in almost any case. 90% of diagnosing is learning the system before jumping into it and 10% is testing and verifying. Can’t charge a customer a lack of knowing a system.
