Sadly Honda announced they will quit making internal combustion engine by 2040. Who knows if they will really stop making engines. Cuz if Honda doesn’t make their efficient and clean engines there will be bunch of cheap non efficient engines dominating the market especially with small engines

I don't think so, Toyotas last much longer than Hondas. Hondas have been getting flimsy and cheap lately.
The Prius power split device isn't the same as a CVT. It has the same end result to someone driving the car, but it works in a completely different way. (It doesn't have any belts, it's completely electronic, and it's maintenance free.)
