I was planning on changing out the transmission fluid & filter on my 2016 Chrysler 300 but they make it such a pain in the rear end! The fluid costs $30 a quart and I’d need 7 quarts. Then on top of that the pan and filter come as 1 piece on this model 300 and it has to be special ordered from Chrysler. With labor, just changing out the tranny fluid and filter would be over $600 alone… yeah…. I have an extended warranty on the vehicle so I’m hoping to go a bit longer, then change it out at a bigger milestone and worse comes to worse the tranny is covered on the warranty so if I ever need it replaced I can.

In my owners manual it says that the automatic transmission fluid lasts the lifetime of the vehicle and should not be changed. I think that’s 100% a load of crap.

I didn't put oil in my car for 10000 miles. I'm now a mechanic at Walmart.

FCA and GM are so bad that it makes Ford look like a better product, that is a fantasy all three are bad, and Tesla is so overpriced that they are off the table, so the best choice is Honda, Toyota.

I’m sorry I’ll stick with my bone stock 09 FORD Mustang GT. Thank you very much!
