I changed the transmission fluid on my 1987 silverado (right after used purchase) with 174,000 + miles on it. Ran like champ, no issues for next 6 years. Wish I never sold it.
My pontiac montana transmission was slipping I changed the fluid and used lucas . Fixed it for a year.
I totally disagree w/ changing the fluid every 4-6 years
My shop teacher said….."never it's a closed system"…….when its broke its broke.
