Touch less car washes all day, I stopped using the automatic car washes years ago
I use to wash my car with Dawn Dishwashing soap the blue one with the yellow duck on it… I washed it on my 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5 … Now I own a 2016 Audi A3… don’t ever use dishwasher soap no more
Well said Scotty. I never use a car wash. I hand-wash my car. I always rise my car first with a hose to remove most of the dirt first.
and I've got a bucket with a plastic tray at the bottom which catches all the dirt and keeps it at the bottom blow the dirt trapper tray. If you don't have a bucket that traps the dirt at the bottom of the bucket start right at the bottom of the bucket and next time you dip your sponge don't go straight to the bottom of the bucket each time you need to rise your sponge keep going higher in the bucket. That way you won't pick up any dirt or grit so you won't scratch your car with your your own car dirt. It's so satisfying washing and waxing yourself.
You know touchless washers exist, right?
Does washing the car actually do anything besides making it look nice? Does it prevent rust or something? I really don't want to wash my car.
What about us who live in northern states who have to deal with winter
What about the winter time in Michigan Scotty?
Good video. Two points. We live across the the street from a man made lake and HOA don't allow car washing. Second. Though more expensive, we take our cars to a brushless car wash. Just wish there were more of them
Let me buff that Lexus to a shine.
