Scotty the type of guy to name hi daughter Toyota
Scotty, I will only buy Chrysler and Toyota. The reason is simple. Both makes are cheap to fix. easy to repair and if you maintain them very well, they last an awfully long time. My family and I have owned mostly Toyotas and Chryslers and i must say, they have been reliable and durable. Is there a difference between 2 makes? Yes/ Toyotas, regardless of price have better quality interiors and their fit and finish is quite a bit better than Chryslers. Chryslers, however are fun to drive and are way more attractive than Toyotas. Mechanically, I find they are the same. You may find it crazy but from a family who's owned 10 Chrysler and 7 Toyota products, we can speak with authority on this. We can't be lucky 10 times.
The worse Toyota product, we've owned was a 1989 Corolla, which had serious stalling issues. Toyota could not figure it out.
The worse Chrysler product we have owned was a 1988 Dodge Diplomat ex cop car. That too had frequent stalling issues but was remedied , once I resealed the intake manifold.
