I have 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. I do a lot of driving and have 118k miles on it. It started throwing codes so I took it to the dealer. Turns out it is the.. Camshaft variable-valve Timing Sprockets. They are of-course on the camshaft. Dealer says, $4,000 to fix they have to strip the engine. Heard of this before?
"I live in an F-150, down by the river"
I don't even come to hear about cars, I just like watching logical people lol
Its because of the cylinder deactivation. Oil stacks on in the cylinder of the deactivated cylinders is the research I have found on em Scotty. It is normal for those engines but I dont like that. Its why I buy Ford. Love your channel Scotty!
04:23 Correction: In England, they’re called Vauxhall, not Opel.
Toyota is guilty of this with the 2AZ-FE
2011 Chevy Suburban had to replace engine at 100k miles. There is a class action gathering regarding this issue. GM is aware, but they and the dealership did all manner of other repairs, along with all the factory maintenance my mother did on her truck and then kaboom! No more engine. GM = junk.
lol sherrin footy glows in the dark! Carn the Pies!!
Only buy Japanese cars
name me one car that does not burn 1/4 qt of oil every 3000 miles.
