The flip side are people who make real good money but drive rusty rat-mobiles. My dad was a super cheapskate and we looked like the damned Beverly hillbillies. My dads mom came to visit and she flatly refused to get in our family car. She told my dad that he should be ashamed of himself for parading his family around in such a piece of junk.
I disagree with scotty on the >5000mi oil changes. If your using quality OEM filters, quality oil (mobil 1 full syn) and drive frequently, you can easily do 12,000 mi oil changes once a year in a 30 year old lexus. I did it 8 times in a row driving to college. Pulled the leaking valve covers and my valves still have a mirror shine to them.
Starting right off the top with that pic of Kamala Harris ain't right Scotty.
I drive a 29 year old Toyota truck. Still runs perfect. I save money everyday driving this truck.
