GM = Government Motors (because of the 2008 11 Billion taxpayer bailout)

    Love your videos. Quick question…

I'm looking at a 2011 challenger 6.4L 6spd. Has had 2 owners, clean carfax. Also has 80k miles. If I was to get it I was going to replace the clutch kit first with a mopar unit then little by little was going to do a NA max effort build with gas cnc heads, cam, intake/intake manifold and long tube headers with a 3in straight pipe (personally love loud obnoxious V8s). Also a tune would of course be fundamentally necessary. Do you think I'm missing on anything else to "replace" immediately if I was to buy it?

American car companies do not want to build simple, economical cars and trucks. They want to pile on luxuries and features to justify the high costs.
When I sold cars I learned that The Industry wanted as much as they could get for a single car rather than sell more cars at a lower price.

I think at the root of this corporate swindling is to make automobiles a financial burden rather than what they use to be known as – a Freedom Machine, or even a simple utility device.

Tesla is gonna be the largest American auto maker within 10 years

When I worked at GM in the 90's, the vehicle lineup was considered a 'portfolio.' It was a given that not every model would be hugely profitable at all times, but as markets changed (as they often do) you at least had a vehicle SOMEWHERE that was appropriate for the hot niche of the day. Let gas hit $5/gal AGAIN and see what happens to cash flow. Of course they can play the GEO gamble again and re-badge someone else's cars. However, for the dealer network, GEO was an EXPENSIVE rollout. Dealers had to pay for all the new signage and showroom floor changes; only to have the label pulled a few years later.

If "mid-size cars aren't selling" then who is buying Camry's and Accords…and why?

GM think short term……I think not , they have been around for over 100 years….goofball!!

The perfect size pickup truck in my book was the Dodge Dakota 20 years ago. Too bad the power train is garbage.
