They’re great when you want to absorb information and learn about the vehicle you own and all of its intricacies.

I wonder if a Chilton has info Haynes doesn’t and vise-versa?
I have a cabinet full of Haynes service manuals for many make and models my dad left me. Very useful manuals to have.

Not as good as they were to vague years ago they were more detail on brake pipe diagrams to exhaust system lay out to name a few now they are to general to be much good…
Yes having the physical book is still relevant. The Haynes has general maintenance information. It's great. There are specific diagrams that aren't included only because some cars may have multiple variants of info. Although finding which one is your setup is the hard part.

It is a smashing one of a kind guide for learning how to repair your car the easy way without the hard work. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my work buddy at last got astronomical success with it.
Just curious…does this manual also cover HR engine 350z models as well?
If you can get a manual that covers just a few years of the model you're working on. The manuals that cover several year models tend to be more vague. And Chilton manuals are not completely worthless, They're good for starting fires.
