    Not a GM fan but Toyota is also having problems not getting enough chips for their vehicles. Tacomas and Tundras for example are very hard to get because they dont have the chips for them.

    I always had problems with GM and it’s usually something stupid like this. It’s been 20 years since I had one so don’t remember the details except needing a certain GM wrench changing the alternator. That’s a small thing but it’s all the other things that go wrong unique to GM.

    GM use to be a chip producer, but the idiots at GM sold it off years ago! Delco electronics use to be one of the biggest automotive electronics manufacturers including making chips in the states ,Korea & Singapore

    those chips are Chimese! you will not here this on mainstream media because it is a negitive Chinese story. It's not only GM its everybody!! Ford; Toyota; VW; Chysler/ Fiat They have built cars stashed everywhere!! Closed mall parking lots, closed factory parking lots, gravel fields, I was at a old closed IH factory attending a meeting in one of the old building and there set new 2021 pick-up trucks covering the entire facility. I was told they're stashed all over the county (local auto assembling plant).

    That's funny cause theirs only a handful of companies that actually make the high quality chips and they supply chips for a whole assortment of car manufacturers, phone manufacturers, and even gaming electronics. It's all the same and has affected more companies then just GM. Honda has had to shut down factories, Ford, BMW, Volkswagen, etc have all cut down production because of this chip shortage. I'm almost certain that no car manufacturers actually make their own chips 🤣 this is just another unwarrented reason to hate on gm when all cars are about the same reliability now a days besides diesels or jeeps which are junk.
