One thing you can count on with corps. They’ll always pay the least and charge the most. While complaining that costs are too much and they’re not making enough per sale.
GM doesn't really care about pissing off American consumers they consider themselves a "global" brand. They know they can't compete with Japanese brands so their strategy is to abandon the first world and focus on the third world markets for cheaper labor and try their luck selling cars there.
I spent 30 years working for GM. I am disgusted with the level pf loyalty they show to North America!
Sad Toyota Tacoma was made in Texas. Now all are made in Mexico. The problem is the Tacoma is selling 5K over MSRP.
