I had the exact same problem with the ford 3.7 v6. The starter was weak so I replaced it then it wouldn't start. It ended up being the battery. Remember a bad battery can still show good voltage even with diminished cold crank amps so you have to get it load tested to see the failure. Any major auto parts store does it for free.
Yeah, we’re already driving cheap used cars around after the used cars market crashed as Scotty predicted before.
